KLAUS MÄKELÄ AND PEKKA KUUSISTO RETURN TO SWEDISH RADIO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

This week Klaus Mäkelä returns to the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra where he is Principal Guest Conductor on 30 and 31 January 2020, conducting Daniel Bjarnason​’s Violin Concerto with Pekka Kuusisto and Stravinsky’s Petrushka (1947) at Berwaldhallen. The Friday concert, also featuring Jimmy López’s Perú Negro, will be livestreamed on Berwaldhallen Play. 

This is the second collaboration for Mäkelä and Kuusisto this month following their performance of the Violin Concerto with MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra on 19 January 2020 at Leipzig Gewandhaus.
