ORCHESTRE DE PARIS RETURNS TO MUSIC MAKING CONDUCTED BY KLAUS MÄKELÄ

Klaus Mäkelä, newly announced as the next Music Director of Orchestre de Paris, will conduct the orchestra on 9 July 2020 in the Philharmonie. The programme combines Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin and Beethoven’s Symphony No.7. 

This will be the first public concert presented by Orchestre de Paris since the outbreak of the Coronavirus epidemic, and the Philharmonie will open its doors to an audience of 950 people. The concert will be broadcast live on Mezzo and Phil​har​monie​.TV, available for streaming on medici​.TV, and broadcast by Radio Classique on 11 July.
